Telehealth Informed Consent
Reta by Docs connects you with independent, licensed clinicians who provide care using telehealth. By starting a visit, you consent to receive care through secure electronic communication rather than an in-person examination.
How telehealth works here
- You complete an online medical visit describing your history, goals, and medications.
- A clinician licensed in your state reviews your information.
- The clinician determines whether treatment, including Retatrutide, is appropriate for you.
- If prescribed, your medication is dispensed by a licensed pharmacy and shipped to you.
What you should understand
- A prescription is issued only when a clinician judges it medically appropriate. Not everyone qualifies.
- Telehealth has limits. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
- You are responsible for giving accurate, complete health information.
- You may withdraw consent or stop treatment at any time.
Risks and benefits
Benefits include convenient access to licensed clinicians and ongoing support. Risks include the possibility that a remote evaluation does not capture information an in-person visit would. Your clinician will discuss the risks and side effects of any treatment with you before you begin.
